iGA Spotter

Türkiye's first official Spotter Area, for aviation photography enthusiasts, has been launched at Istanbul Airport. The Spotter Area at Istanbul Airport is strategically positioned, with a prime view of Runway 1 and the Air Traffic Control Tower. Applications to access the iGA Spotter Area, highly sought-after by aviation enthusiasts, are free of charge.

Applications for events in 2024 will start on April.

Applications will be accepted from 24 October 2023 - 01 November 2023. Please submit your application between these dates.

Information Form

1. Preamble:

This Information Form is prepared by IGA Havalimanı İşletmesi Anonim Şirketi (Company) in order to process personal data in accordance with the relevant legislation, including but not limited to the Constitution of the Turkish Republic and the international conventions regarding to human rights and the Law on the Protection of Personal Data numbered 6698 (“LPPD”) and to ensure that related persons use their rights effectively. Any personal data shared with our Company may be processed in a legal manner, in conjunction with and proportionate to our business and service objectives.

2. Definitions

In this Information Form the terms of ‘personal data’, ‘processing personal data’ and ‘special categories of personal data” have been used with the meanings stated in LPPD. Under LPPD, the term ‘personal data’ has been defined as “any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person”, the term ‘processing personal data’ has been defined as “any operation which is performed upon personal data such as collection, recording, storage, preservation, alteration, adaptation, disclosure, transfer, retrieval, making available for collection, categorization or blocking its use by wholly or partly automatic means or otherwise than by automatic means which form part of a filing system and ‘special categories of personal data’ has been defined as “data relating to race, ethnic origin, political opinions, philosophical beliefs, religion, sect or other beliefs, appearance and dressing, membership of association, foundation or trade-union, health, sexual life, criminal conviction and security measures, and biometrics and genetics are special categories of personal data.”

3. General Principles

Pursuant to the Article 4 of LPPD, personal data that belongs to the data subject will be processed in compliance with the general principles of lawfulness and fairness; accuracy and being up to date where necessary; being processed for specific, explicit and legitimate purposes; being relevant with, limited to and proportionate to the purposes for which they are processed; being retained for the period of time stipulated by relevant legislation or the purpose for which they are processed.

4. Purposes of Data Processing

Your personal data will be processed to reply on your requests, suggestions, complaints and notifications evaluation and finalization; to contact with the data owner; for future elimination of legal disputes; Company's legal rights recognized on the ground personal data processing as set forth in Articles 5 and 6 of the Act for the purpose of will be processed in accordance with LLPD.

5. Transfer of Personal Data

The Company operates in accordance with the regulations set out in the LPPD for the transfer of personal data. In line with the procedures and principles stated in the relevant legislation and in compliance with the purposes and general principles stipulated in the Article 8 and 9 of LPPD, your personal data will be transferred to authorized public authorities and private persons authorized by law and in order to fulfill the statutory obligation.

6. The Method and Legal Reason of Collection Of Personal Data

Your personal data will automaticly be collected by the Feedback form on our website; Legal reasons for the processing of such personal data by the Company; According to the first paragraph of Article 5 of the Law with the consent of the first paragraph of Article 5 of the Law, paragraphs e, f and the exceptions to consent. Your personal data is in force for specified legal reasons. and in accordance with all applicable legislation and in Articles 4 and 5 of this Our company collects for purposes.

7. The Rights of Data Subject

You are duly entitled to apply to Company and to learn whether or not your personal data are processed; if processed, to request information in connection therewith; to learn the purpose of processing and whether or not such data are used for the intended purposes; to learn the identity of third parties who received such data at home or at abroad; if your data are under processed or misprocessed, to ask for the correction thereof; to ask for deletion/destruction of such data under the conditions specified in Article 7 of LPPD; to request notification of such deletion or destruction to persons to whom the data are transferred under subparagraph (d) and (e) of Article 11 of LPPD; to raise objection against a result obtained in disfavor of you due to analysis of such data solely via automatic systems; and if you incur damages due to processing of your data in violation of the laws, to demand indemnification for your damages. If, in exercising your foregoing rights, the underlying transaction involves an additional cost, the applicable fee shall be charged to you pursuant to the relevant legislation.
