Taxis
We offer accessible luxury taxis for guests using wheelchairs who require taxi transportation from our airport. Guests requiring an accessible taxi with a seating device to assist in boarding can register their request at the taxi desk located at the greeting area on the arrivals floor.

HAVAİST
Wheelchair users can use the midibuses provided by HAVAİST. Passengers traveling from the city center to the airport must submit their request to HAVAİST at least 6 hours in advance. Passengers with wheelchairs who require HAVAİST transportation from our airport, must notify the HAVAİST counters or contact them through their communication channels at least one hour prior to the scheduled transportation time.

Metro
The fully-accessible Istanbul Airport metro station, featuring accessible elevators, braille signage, and tactile paving, offers service to Kağıthane and connects to terminal entrance gate 4 along a tactile paving pathway.
Terminal Services
Assistance Services
Wheelchair services with an assistant can be requested from the relevant airline company. To receive assistance services without extended wait times, guests are advised to make reservations with their airline during ticket purchase or at least 48 hours prior to their flight. Guests who have made a reservation can inform the staff of their arrival, using the assistance call phones in front of the terminal entrance gates. Benches are available at the first entrance gate where you can wait for the assistant to arrive.
Wheelchair Service (for passenger companions)
Non-traveling visitors with mobility issues, who are meeting or sending off passengers, can request a complimentary wheelchair at the information desks before passport control.

Accessible Toilets
Each restroom area in the terminal and parking area features accessible restrooms with braille signage, audible indicators for vacant/occupied status, and doors operated with motion sensors that open outward for the convenience of individuals with disabilities.
Adult Changing Facility
Our airport provides adult changing facilities equipped with height-adjustable beds. These rooms also feature stoma-friendly facilities.

- The first restroom area on the left, situated across from the departures passport checkpoint on the departures floor
- The restroom area for the remote G3 gates, located after the second security checkpoint for domestic flights on the departures floor
- The restroom area adjacent to the iGA Terminal Lost and Found Office, situated before the passport checkpoint on the departures floor

Special Assistance Service Point
Special Assistance Service Points can be found at the check-in area for guests who are hypersensitive to noise and crowds. Rooms featuring resting chairs, a private space for prosthetic limb removal, and flight information displays offer our guests a comfortable resting area within the check-in zone.

Very Special Guest Room
Our Very Special Guest Card program provides exclusive privileges for guests with conditions such as autism, dementia, down's syndrome, cerebral palsy, parkinson's disease, and epilepsy, who are sensitive to noise and crowds, and require a calm space to rest. Guests approved for the Very Special Guest Card are given complimentary access to the specially-designed Very Special Guest Rooms situated within the flight gate areas, as well as the option to use iGA Buggy vehicles, which follow a designated route, accompanied by a companion.

Sunflower Lanyard
Guests with invisible disabilities, such as dementia, autism, and anxiety disorder, who may require additional sensitivity and support from staff members, can obtain a complimentary Sunflower Lanyard at the information desks.

Charging Station for Electric Wheelchairs
We provide wheelchair charging stations for guests traveling with their own electric wheelchair.
The Locations:
- Departures floor, check-in area, opposite the 1st Special Passenger Service Point located opposite the terminal entrance gate
- Departures floor, after the second security checkpoint, in the Café Yanımda area adjacent to the remote G3 Gates
- Departures floor, after the international passport checkpoint, in front of flight gate D, opposite the iGA Sleepod
Food Court for Special Guests
We provide specially-designed dining areas for guests with medical conditions such as Parkinson's disease, dystonia, and cerebral palsy, who prefer to eat in a private area away from crowds.

- Departures floor, the Food Court dining area situated opposite check-in island G, before the second security checkpoint
- Departures floor, the Food Court dining area located in the left corridor after the international passport checkpoint

Visual Cues for Individuals with Parkinson's disease
We have introduced the Blue Ribbon Program to support guests with Parkinson's disease who may experience freezing episodes.

Age-Friendly Support Personnel
Age-Friendly Support Personnel wear yellow vests and are stationed within the terminal to assist our elderly guests.

Free blood pressure measurement is offered to guests who are over the age of 65, at the airport pharmacies.
